As a charity we are funded entirely on donations and rely heavily on fundraising.
Our Chairman is a truly inspirational fundraiser. Having Cerebral Palsy himself and also benefiting from Conductive Education as a child, he is well placed to understand the positive impact of Step and Learns' work. He has taken on various Marathons and Bike Rides over the last 5 years all in the name of raising money for Step and Learn.
We are also blessed to have many families and friends who take on personal challenges in order to fundraise on our behalf, including Tough Mudder events, 5km runs and even sky diving!

In 2023 we launched our "sponsor a child" initiative where local businesses and organisations can pay an annual amount of £600 to cover the cost of a child's sessions for the year.
Our sponsored children and their families are incredibly grateful to the organisations that have sponsored them and have enjoyed meeting and getting to know their sponsors at various events.
Each sponsor has received a personalised pack detailing their child's journey so far with Step and Learn, their goals for the next 6 months and some action shots of them taking part in sessions. The packs also include a certificate of appreciation for the sponsor to display.
